Air Flow Fixtures & Tooling

Leamount provides a complete design and manufacturing service for all types of air flow fixtures and tooling ranging from simple approach tubes to fully integrated automated fixtures linked to the airflow control cycle. Quick release full flow connections simplify setup and minimise changeover time.

Leamount applies its specialist knowledge to ensure the tooling will not degrade the measurement results and the approach diameter at the pressure tapping is accurately specified to allow kinetic head correction. Materials are chosen so they will not rust or corrode in the presence of leak detect fluids.

Leamount has particular expertise in production testing of gas turbine blades and nozzle guide vanes including sealing to airfoil sections and fir tree root flow channels. Leamount fixtures allow reliable accurate and simple testing of these types of parts.
